Health data is the most personal record most people ever keep. Here is exactly what happens to it here.

What is stored

Whatever you put in: readings you type, files you import, notes and reports you save, events you mark, and the health profile you fill in. Your email address and a hashed password. Nothing else is collected.

Where it is stored

In a single database on the server that runs this site, alongside any files you attach. It is scoped to your account, and every page checks that scope before it reads anything.

What is not done with it

• It is not sold, rented or shared with anyone.
• It is not used to train anything.
• There are no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts and no third-party fonts or scripts on any page of this site. The only files your browser loads are served from here.

The optional summary writer

The insights page can turn its findings into two paragraphs of plain language. That feature calls a language model, and it only runs when you click the button. What is sent is the list of findings already shown on the page plus your age, sex and stated conditions. Your notes, your files and your raw readings are not sent. If the feature is not configured on this deployment, the button does not appear at all.

Passwords

Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 and never stored in a readable form. There is no password reset flow yet, which means a forgotten password cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. Keep it somewhere safe.

Taking it out and deleting it

Every reading exports to CSV from your account page at any time. Deleting your account deletes the account row, every reading, every event, every note and every attached file immediately.

The sample record

Opening the sample creates a private throwaway account seeded with generated data for a fictional person. It belongs only to your browser session and is deleted automatically after a week.

What this site is not

welldata.app is a personal record and a set of published reference ranges. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and no clinician reviews what you enter. If something here worries you, take it to a person who can examine you.
